I do mine a little different... I run a hot line to
the master, from the master to a ford solenoid up front
and from the solenoid to the starter.. I use the hot
lug on the solenoid as a hot terminal for other things
inside the car... that wire from the batt is 1 gauge..
I run the alt wire from the alt right to the batt
side of the master.. thats a 6 gauge for a 85a alt...
I tap my sense wire from the alt into a constant
duty solenoid that runs the water pump and fan.. that
is the highest draw so it sees the lowest voltage
and gives the batt the highest charge... my batt
normally sees 14.8 volts
