I seen a while back where guys were asking about a dolly to install engines with. This is what I used on the last car I put together. First time I used it was on a 70 Satellite with a 383-727. This build is a Hemi Orange 69 Dart with a 340-727. I recently had to add 4 small pieces at the top to allow the deep oil pan to clear the dolly.

K frame headers and transmission mount installed ready to go under car. Sorry guys but that's all I have for now till I get the rest of the plug wires finished and a few other small issues buttoned up.

My dolly was originally built just for moving engines around. I tried it last time to install everything complete and it worked good. Maybe by the weekend it will be setting back in here where it belongs!

Total time from lifting of the car, installing engine and trans, replace all front suspension and rolling outside....3 hrs and change. This really is a lot easier if you have the means to do it.

Looks good. I like your automotive equivalent of a horse blanket. Looks like you could take a nap on there. LOL

Yeeaahh -
my brothers teased me relentlessly about all the linens that "must be missing from neighbor's clothes lines"... I broke down and bought a load of $7.99 Harbor Freight moving blankets... but the linens remain underneath
