Finally got to sit in the drivers seat today, after 14 years of owning this car !!! Way cool to have the 6way drivers seat !!! The cloth insert should be great for those long haul trips ! The door panels are original, and the console is original . . . the deluxe wheel is original, but has been redone by Doug Lepak (thanks Doug !!) . . . just a few more little things to take care of in the interior and then I can drive it - if the weather here ever STOPS snowing !!!!

Don't give up.. 18 years before I was able to drive mine.. Went through a divorce, living with my parents for 18 months( when I was 40) storing it in a storage unit for 2 years on a rotisserie.. Your pics brought back memories...

For everyone still wrenching on their projects . . . Just remember the picture you had in your mind when you first started the project ! Every little amount of time spent, is that much closer you are to getting it done. Don't get too discouraged - you will make it !

Cheers

Mark

Well . . . another update !!! I have DRIVEN my car !!! YAHOOO . . . first was tentative around the block, then realized I should fill the tranny and adjust the kickdown linkage !!! . . . DUH !!! . . . still have to install rocker mouldings and the a/c hoses under the hood . . . but at least can move it under it's own steam !!!

Again, to everyone that have those down days, keep that picture in your mind of the end result you want !!! It will help out for sure !!!

Cheers

Mark
