Would a 67 GTX with a 440 4 spd have an 8 3/4 or Dana from the factory? Did they have Dana's in 67?

Right, all 4 speed Street Hemi's and all B&E cars with 440 4 speeds. First year of the Dana 60 in any Mopar body was 1966.

Here's one few know....1966 and later C-body cars with 440's and 4 speeds also got Dana rears.....But they were'nt 60's, anyone want to guess what size they were?

I got a 66 Plymouth shop manual and it has 8 3/4 rears for manual equipped 383 Belvedere/Satellite and 426 Fury's. No mention of a Dana, but Chrysler Imperial used a Dana in 66.

Was the C body 9.25 a late 66 introduction because I'm not showing anything until '67 either?

Well that's what I was afraid of. My buddy has the GTX and it has the correct coarse spline tranny, but it does have an 8 3/4 in it.
