Is anyone running an externally balanced Magnum 5.9 with a 904 transmission. if so what flex plate are you using? Are the weights on the flex plate or the tc? The only plate I have been able to find is for a 727 by B&M.
Thanks

The magnum 5.9 has a different balance factor than an LA 360 so you can't use LA360 balanced flex plate.

The dealer can get you the weighted flexplate,it fit's later style converters,so elongation of 1 bolt hole will likley be required and it's drilled for 5/16" converter bolts.

I am running the B&M with the cut out on it. If you need to, weight the converter.

my tranny guru says..... DONT weld weights to a lockup converter... welding burns the LU clutches in the TC....

Oh, ok. I dont have a lock-up converter. You could epoxy them if you could find some serious epoxy. The epoxy that is used for marine applications are pretty good, like the stuf they use to hold the magnets on the flywheel for the stator on an OMC engine. Ya kinda got me on that one.
