My winshield trim on my 69 rr is just packed full of the winsheild glue on the rear trim . Are there any tricks to remove this stuff??? Thanks Nick

I found that if I soaked the trim pieces in lacquer thinner overnight it cleaned up pretty well. I found some pipe and capped off one end and propped it up in my bench vise, load up your pieces and add the thinner. You need to have some patience and may have to wipe the stuff off and let it soak some more to get everything out.
