How does the angle at which the throttle cable is attached to the carburetor effect responsiveness? If the cable is pulling straight back vs. at a downward angle how does this effect it? I'm looking at trying to slow my reaction times down. Made some changes over the winter and the car has picked up 1/2 tenth in 60' times, but now I'm consistently .030 - .050 red. I've tried lower launch rpm and messed with tire pressure both front and rear, but haven't stumbled across the right combo yet, so I was looking at changing the throttle cable angle. Any input is appreciated.

none as long as it's not binding. you can mess with timing. how much does your car weigh? you may be anticipating.

You my want to try using a blinder to block the top 2 yellows. This will delay your reaction time.
