I pulled the motor out of my 70RR and figured seeing as it's out I may as well replace the old motor mounts.I'm trying to get some input as to which company or brand would be my best bet.Yup,I'm a novice but I'm learning...thanks
By the way it's for a 383 4-spd car of that makes any difference

All parts store mounts are junk these days. I haven't seen one NOT made in India in ten years (and that one was made in Korea and MUCH better quality)...
the parts store mounts are real cheap , and there is a reason , because they are garbage.

They're really not cheap anymore, either. The Indian made one for the passenger side of my wife's '02 Sebring is around $50, dealer is around $80 (but I did have to get a member here to pick one up for me due to eternal backorder and only nine in the country).

I use a Moroso solid on the Driver side, and a stock rubber mount on the passenger side. Works good.

Had the stock style mounts (from India) break even with a torque strap on our 64 Plymouth (not the car in the sig picture). Installed a set of the 440 Source captive style mounts and they worked great. A little cheaper than the Poly-Lock mounts. 440 Source
