Will it increase the stength, or will the size of the tapered hole that the nut fits into limit the strength anyway? Thanks, Joel I cant say for fact but myself I wouldnt bore them out to fit a larger stud... plus if you did you would need to bore out the axles... they are pretty stout to bore out....... JMO

prochargedhemi super stock P Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 951 Temperance, MI	I just did the same thing with a set of american racing torque thrusts and they are super tight with the 5/8 stud at 4-1/2 bolt pattern. Main problem is the nut for the 5/8 studs. its a flange nut with an o.d. of 1.2900 and the hole in the wheel is only 1.200. im making my own nuts and spacers so it wasn't a big deal but something to think about
