I am helping a buddy get his 68 Charger going and we are having a problem getting his front valance turn signal to work on the passenger side. The light comes on with the headlights but will not work when the turn signal is activated. Upon further inspection I found that the passenger side front marker light was not hooked up, and in fact the wiring harness to the marker was missing. Would this missing part keep the front valance light from funcitioning in the turn signal mode?

The markers dont blink so I dont think thats an issue,if the marker light was a problem then it'd cause even the valence park light to not work check the ground on the light.

But if it was a ground issue wouldnt it not work when the headlights were turned on?

Had quite a few that the park light would work, but the blinker would kill it all cause of a ground.

Maybe the wiring is messed up a bit because the lights in the valance should not be on with headlamps, while side marker should be on.

Sorry, I meant to say they were on when the switch was moved to the "park light" position.
