I know some of you guys have been racing longer than me and have some older!!! While going thru some stuff i found lots of these and man did it take me down memory lane...Some of you young guns were just a dream back in the 70'S & 80'S...No auto win or start back then and sometimes you had to wonder as it was all hand written back in the day Paris,Tx was my home track as it was only 45 min. away and you can see the progression...Also have some of different tracks i raced at quite often!!! Mods leave here if possible as it is race related!!!

1000' track?
Yes Paris & Prescott had already gone from the 1320 to a 1000' track and now their 1/8TH mile tracks as both didn't have enough shut down as speed progressed...others were 1/4 mile tracks!!!

I remember those small pieces time slips about 1x2 with hand written times. !/4 mile ET and MPH , no reaction time. I also remember running on a track that had only one lane timing. Who ever got to the end first got the time slip
it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
