Need to put a tank in my 37, I think 15 gallons should be minimum, what do you guys think?

depends on your mileage and expected driving distances. 150 mile range is the smallest I would consider.

I agree with the 150 mile range. But stopping for gas is half the fun of driving old cars. But stopping for gas is sometimes not fun when everyone you meet wants to tell you their life story for a half an hour.
Let me know what you come up with for a tank, I need one for my Grandpas 37 as well..

Will you keep the stock filler neck location? Is yours on the lower side of the cab behind the drivers door?

You should figure want you think fuel consumption will be because 150miles for one build is 80 for another for same size tank. I planned to run a 16gal tank with my built 383 in my 80 Shortbox because it would be a 60mile round trip to town and back. so 30miles one way but could top off before the trip home. with 2-750 Eddys I believe hp383 said it got 4mpg with 4.10s

The tank goes between the frame rails under the bed. The Suburban tank is pretty deep.
Dimensions are 29.75" from front to back, 33.5" side to side, and 13.13" deep
I'm considering one for my '64Dog.
There's also a ford pickup/bronco 33 gallon tank that's a hair shallower. Then there's a 22 gallon ford pickup rear tank that is what I have in my F150.
All in all, look at the Spectra Premium tanks and figure out which one is right for you.

i would use a 20 gallon spun alum hot rod tank,like used on rail buggys,a long tube gasser tank.
mount it right to the bulkhead of the bed just below the bed rails so a bed cover will still fit.
I have seen a few dodge truck with that in the bed.
you can also have an alum tank fabed up to your specs in any shape needed.
seen a few L shaped ones in the bed of trucks tucking it under the tool box.
I have seen a tool box added too to make a tank on the bottom of it. filler was locked inside the tool box lid out of sight.
if you have to stay under the bed, maybe 2 of the long tube gasser tanks can be used for more clearance under there. one down each side with a cross over line. in or outside of frame rails. 
IMHO,a gasser alum tank would fit the look of a 37 hotrod truck.

In my 54 Dodge truck I had a 25 gal late 70s B body tank behind the rear axle that truck had a 400 mile range. My 39 Plymouth coupe had a 16 gal home made tank in the usual position, behind the rear axle, that one had a 275 mile range. My current 48 Plymouth coupe has an 18 gal tank in the normal position of the Dakota frame that is under it, it has a range of about 300 miles, which apparently isn't enough because I've ran that out 2 times in the last 2 years. Short little rides are hard on mileage.
If you get in the 150 - 200 mile range on a full tank, your butt and back will need a break about the time the gas tank will need refueling. My wife and I both need a break about every 2 hours, and a little extra fuel reserve is nice, in case the gas stations are not placed in the right locations. For me, that means a 15-18 gal tank is about right. Gene
