The Summitt description talks about high eccentricity & greater crush. Is there any longevity problem using these in a low rpm daily driver? These are full groove 400 BB main bearings going onto a turned down 440 crank. thank you for your time.

they should work fine. in fact all factory rod bearings were "p" bearings. the extra crush holds the bearing in place and the extra excentricity helps the bearing clearances under extreme load, (this is more of an issue with rod bearings). "p" bearings are tri-metal and don't have a lot of embediability so keep the oil changed.
