My lever is missing the little chrome button on the very end. What was this piece originally? Was it just a sticker or was it a piece of metal? I was thinking of asking my father-in-law to machine a small piece of aluminum to fit in there.

Rather than trying to make one i'd grab one from a wrecking yard... Most vintage Mopars would use it, break the plastic off the T/S stalk & then carefully break that away & the disc should be undamaged...

My father-in-law tinkers in his shop all the time. I just thought it would be something to keep him busy. It looks like Jules has one. Thanks guys!
