Well to be direct, quality reproductions (as well as cheaper lower end reproductions) are available from several sources pretty darn cheap these days, why waste the time fabricating them?

I'm not worried about reproductions just the functionality. Really, it depends on your definition of cheap. I'm seeing them for over $100.00 a pair and I know I could fab a lot for a c-note. But I'm cheap so..... Just need some pics Seriously, nobody does their own?? Maybe I could start a sideline

Here's what fronts look like, not like it will help you much. I no longer sell them so don't have any laying around to offer dimensions

There is a guy on ebay selling reinforcing plates for spring hangers. Were they ever used from the factory like the torque boxes?

Thanks, Scott, for all the pictures. That's what I was looking for! I was fairly sure but couldn't visualize just laying on a creeper under the car. No lift

Yes, most cars that recieved Torque Boxes also recieved the plates (HP applications) LP convertibles etc. usually lacked them.

I sell the plates now, for all body styles, PM me for prices. These are the B-body plates, also shown with the correct HP pinnion snubber plate
