Front and rear markers on a 68 Dart. Is the thread standard size? They use the sheetmetal "nuts" to hold them on. my fiberglass fenders are much thicker than the sheetmetal, so I need to come up with something. Thanks.

Couldn't you grind/sand the back side around the hole to a thinner dimension? I'd think you could do that relatively easily. Also, the nut might be able to be modified to allow a greater depth
Once I can get to my garage I can check the threads with a pitch gauge.

I think I will just section the nut to gain some depth. Not going to grind on the fenders with them already painted. And yeah...already added the ground wire to each.
