Need help figuring out this bracket's purpose. There are no stampings on it. The fixed threads take a 7/16" hex head wrench size. Measurements are in the pic. I gotta believe that it is a Mopar part since it came from my Mopar bracket bin.

And I think your right, I haven't worked on a 68 Charger grill in 25+ years so my memory is foggy but I believe that bolts to the radiator support & another bracket bolts to that & goes out to the headlight door area..
