EKG required @ 55Yrs .had that pleasure last year...!
That's correct!Have an appointment with the MD next week including the EKG
no big deal takes a few minutes, just a few wires hooked to you.

Its not just getting the EKG done BUT you have to send a copy of it into the NHRA when you get your license when over 55 ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

I guess the BEST THING about having a competition License is that you get to enroll in the SUMMIT RACING PROSHOP or JEGS where they give you an additional WHATEVER percentage off ( usually around 10%) for having a license.. You have to enroll and have a valid competition License from NHRA,, but,, the money you'll save will PAY FOR THE LICENSE !!!! Not everyone knows about that !!! GOOD PROGRAM to enroll in.. You can only buy stuff for YOUR racecar or TOW VEHICLE and if they catch you doing something "out of pocket" they WILL KICK YOU OUT,, so,,,, WATCH YOURSELF!!!! It's a GOOD BENEFIT !!!! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shout.gif)

Well I am glad I read this. I just had my physical and they did not give me a copy of the EKG.They just filled out the medical form.
If your 55 or older you have to send a copy of your EKG... so get a copy(they make make you do it again).. then just ask for another copy and the nurse will print it right then(may have to ask the doc first) ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)
