340SHORTY Truck Nut Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 12,291 Kent, Wa	the further the exhaust gas is from the engine the cooler it is requiring less need for the larger diameter exhaust pipe.. BUT personally Id stay with the 2.5 all the way to the rear.. I am truckless..
