I have a 90 Dakota wiring, drive train, and instrument cluster in my coupe, and I have a 93 Dakota that is my daily driver. The 90 cluster does not have the factory tach, but the 93 does. My coupe is a non-Magnum, throttle body efi v6, 5 speed, 2 wheel drive, but the 93 is a Magnum efi v6, auto, and 4x4. Can I just swap out the two clusters and have the tach from the 93 work in the 90, or is there something else I would need to change? The coupe needs the tach, the 4x4 does not. Gene

the tach runs from the computer box. to run it, your control box must be from a tach equipped truck. i'm sure with enough searching and modding, you can get an aftermarket tach drive to run yours.
