I hope someone can help tell me what hardware is needed to attach the seat backs to the seat bottom. I took them apart 8 years ago and moved a couple of times and I think maybe tossed it.
It is front bench out of a 70 duster.
Thanks
Howard

Demon 440 I just had my bench seat recovered, but I need to know what hardware holds the seat back to the seat bottom. If you could take a look at yours and tell me I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Howard

You need a hinge with latch on each side. The hinges are attached to the seat back and go over a pin sticking out of the side of the bottom of the seat. They are held on the swivel pin with a washer with teeth on the inside where it slides over thwe pin. The center of the seat bottom has two brackets with pins that the seat back brackets slide onto. The side hinges have a plastic cover that goes over them to finish the look.

Thanks Stumpy. Do you have a picture of the washer with teeth on the inside? or know if they are available anywhere?.
Thanks
Howard

Wow Thanks Stumpy. I'll head over to Ace and see if I can find them. Thanks again for the help.
