Curious, which one holds up the best in a fairly heavy duty truck? NV 4500? Getrag? 5600? Was looking at doing a 5-speed conversion behind a 440 in an '85 1-ton years ago, so I haven't kept up with updates lately. Or trans technology. Anyone do the swap these days or just buy a newer truck?

Does the NV4500 have the 5th gear issue when used behind the V10 or just with the Cummins, or is it mostly driver related
