She's comin right along! This is one of my favorite projects being chronicled, it's nice to see someone save a solid one vs. parting it out for $$$. Keep up the good work!

Front seat, defroster ducting, dash cluster, glove box door, etc, etc, etc tested and ready for service. I'll wait to install the new glove box until I decide what to do with the stereo. I am leaning towards having my mint '66 AM radio converted but $459 is a lot of scratch. I could easily get a five channel amp and some speakers for close to that and have much better results. I think the FMR-1 is 180 watts (45Wx4) and you can only get one with the conversion. The people that make the unit (Aurora Design) will only sell to their dealer network so that leaves us electronic tinkerers out of it.
