I don' think the cermanic coating is going to help. Do you have a straight boot? If so, you may be able to bend the insert inside the boot to clear the header. Firecore will likely fix the wire or put a different boot on it if you send it back to him.

Buy a short roll of header wrap, wrap three or four times, or as many as you can around the tube in that area depending on the thickness. Metal zip ties on the end. Should do the trick.
First set of headers I had on my challenger literally had my Taylor wires sitting on the tube. Did something similar using a welders pad (ceramic wool material I think) and never had an issue.
