A friend of mine's son is restoring a 1985 D-150. Can you tell me what years grill surrounds will work? Thanks,guys!

The 81-85 grill, shell and headlight surrounds are the same.

IMO, the '81 to '85 is the most attractive grille & grille surround of this body style.


(But as I own an '85 I might be just a little bit biased?)

I believe the surround and grill are no longer produced. I have seen someone that still has the headlight doors available.

i got most of the stuff for my truck from member thedodgeboys

Allen had the complete rubber kit,headlight doors,side markers,tail lights and the euro clear tail lights.

IIRC rock auto has the headlight doors/tail lights also.

not sure where you will find a grill surround or the plastic grill insert. I never was able to find it for the 85 or the 88 truck.

I used a tube grill on my 88-440 truck and a nice used grill surround.

have not seen thedodgeboys post in a while though.

I would like to get another rubber kit for the 85 truck myself.
