I need all the pulleys for my 528 Hemi. My question is what pulley size and how many grooves do I need on the water pump and crank pulley. I have power steering. Will a 440 pulley work how about a small block. 340???
Thanks

Also remember that a Hemi dampener is thicker so the alt pulley is different, just order everything for a Hemi to start with.
Unless the OP specifically bought an original or frank B . repop dampner he won't need original offset hemi parts , The mp crate hemis all come with the thin wedge type dampner and can use B/RB Wedge pulleys.

Ok, let me ask a question. I bought a aftermarket sfi damper and was told it was the same thickness as a hemi damper, so I bought hemi pulleys. Just how thick is a hemi damper compared to a wedge?
The hemi dampner also has a thicker hub , it's hit or miss on an aftermarket dampner , some have thick hubs , some do not .
What dampner did you buy and is the hub face where the pulley bolts on recessed ?
The SFI dampner I have I bought from Mopar Performance thru Mancini , it is listed as a HEMI dampner , it has a recessed face so I would have to buy the .750 spacer to use stock pulleys on it.

I got mine from Manicini too, I just said I wanted one like the hemi, now that was before the repo came out. All I knew was the hemi was thicker, thats why I brought that up to the OP, if he has a 528 he needs to check every thing. Now I'm wondering just what I have. I sent my alt out for rest and told them to put a hemi pulley on it, I also ordered hemi crank pulleys, and the water pump and power steering line up. you make me wonder about the alt.The brand they sold me was the PRO brand.
I have the PRO brand also. Since you bought everything else Hemi I guess you have to go that direction , plan on putting a spacer on the dampner .

I hope the engine builder did that, cause its already together. But like i said the water pump and the Saginaw power steering pulley line up.
Line up with the crank pulley ? Then yes he fixed it .

Bt what I'm concerned about is the Alt pulley, I have already sent it off and told them to install a hemi pulley.I hope the OP is keeping up with what were talking about.
The hemi alt. pulley is a certian size double pulley , I think it's the same as an A/C pulley setup , it's the spacing to the block that needs adjuted to line it up , should be easy to do since everything else already lines up especially using a 69-71 hemi waterpump pulley , the alt uses the outer pulley of the double row.
