I use the big Moroso one, 89552. I also have a big face Intercomp and yet a third Intercomp for front tires. They all work great but two different front wheels on the cars and needed a second gauge to get into the front wheels on the small tire car.

Like Al said you just about have to have 2 gauges one for the front one for the rear.I like to use a rear gauge that only registers 15 lbs so I can fine tune the rear pressure in 1/8-1/4 lbs as for the fronts one lbs readings are close enough.Just good quality gauges, all you need to know is what pressure your tires work best set at by the gauge you are using,I like to always use the same gauge.I stay away from the lastest trick of the week gauges!

Not if you go digital. Mine the Moroso 89576 0-100 psi, reads to the tenth of a pound and is LED backlit for easy use at night.

I use a cheepo rebco for the rears it appears to be accurate compared to others but once you get one then stick with the same one, but I know if I lose/misplace mine then my buddies moroso reads the same as mine.

with regards to gauges used to set slick pressure repeatability is your major concern not accuracy with regards to the gauge face. i have precision digital test gauges and calibration pump that i've checked gauges with. though i sold it (i have a 0-30#) the 0-15# crystal engineering gauge i had read to .00x PSI. this is the type of gauge i use for reference

imho this is one of the better analog gauges for a reasonable price. i don't use digitals for tire pressure. i could be wrong but they may come with two bleeders now as bleeding slicks is time consuming. for this reason i use TR618A valve stems with the removable stem to quickly bleed pressure.

This is the one I use.

I keep my slicks at 20-22 psi so this one works well for the front and rear.
