You won't find a 62/65 heater core at any parts store.

I agrre you wont find one at a parts store unless its been on the shelf for 25 years.I have a spare for my 65.One big thing to check is the valve where the hose go in.There is a O ring on it.Lots of times it leaks and you think the core is leaking.Had to change mine a few years ago.A good rad shop can rebuild yours.Rocky

I forgot while the box is out make sure the valve arm is moving nice and free. They get corroded and wont switch heat setting or they will bend the cable.I lube mine regulary.Only thing is I bent the h--l out of the cable before I found it was stuck. Now I just crawl under the dash and change it by hand.Rocky
