Hello all,

Quick question this evening, has anyone used Dodge Connection at all for truck parts? I have a '84 D250 and they offer a few items I am in need of, mainly weather stripping. I figure they are pretty good if they are one of the sponsors on here.

Thanks,
Dave

Yes, I've bought door seals and sill plates from them. They let you know the status of your order and ship quick; highly recommended

I've bought the frame bracket from them that goes near the steering gear box. Great to deal with and excellent part. I've may of bought more from them over the years not sure.....would do business with them again for sure.

Nice to see that my "negative" shipping charge post was erased for the good of the business. Oh well.

Just to clarify; I did not delete the post; not sure who did; and I do not support anyone deleting it on my behalf. I am big boy and can handle any negative feedback.

We handle over 1,000 orders per year partime and have few complaints but we do screw up from time to time; certainly not perfect; we are just trying to make some money to pay for my own truck addiction.

As for shipping costs - we use an automated UPS provided shipping calculator and it for some un-determined reason is high on some orders. So we end up issuing credits on about 1/4 of our orders. I have worked with UPS for 5 years now fine tuning the process but mainly on smaller items/orders it just still is not accurate.

Any time you have an issue with shipping cost on something please contact us we work things out all the time.

Later
DLS

I just got done putting my slider window in my '76 D100. The rear window gasket I ordered from the Dodge Connection was just what they said it was. In fact the installer said, it was one of the best fits he's ever seen. As for the people, everyone I talked to was very helpfull. Kim even got hold of me on a question I had, as she was boarding a plane to do other business. They're business is part time, but they'll help you as if it was full time.

DLS,

I appreciate the explanation. The shipping quote was indeed what turned me off. After seeing your post, I'll be sure to get an order together and see what it costs again.

Thanks,
Shawn

No problem - shipping can be a pain period depending on what parts you want but we work with folks all the time to try and keep it down.

Picked my parts up in person when I was in their area...absolutely great folks...even when I got lost trying to find their location . They are great folks and all the parts I picked up fit great. Wouldn't hesitate to order anything I needed from them. . Funny thing was that while I saved on shipping I had to buy an extra suitcase to get all the stuff home... it was like being in a candy store, couldn't help myself
