sdaurity pro stock S Joined: May 2008 Posts: 1,238 North Cackilacky	Been 140 to the 1/8 with an all stock set up. Never ran it all the way out the back have let out early and been 158 I beleive. Only thing I never liked was when on the brakes hard it wanted to move around alot like it had drums on the front. Had it aligned by a few different folks a few different ways never made a difference. One day I will have something cool here.

At what point are suspension upgrades needed? The stock components are stronger than most aftermarket upgrades. The only down sides I see are weight,clearance and adjust-ability. There is some flex/deflection (wheelstands, landing)due to the rubber parts, but rebuilt properly the stock front is going to be stable at speed. Stock parts can be reworked if there is any bump steer. Make sure you can dial in enough caster. I run a lot, about six degrees, but the car drives itself if I am in the grove. To get that much, there are parts available to help (can't recall what/where) or you can go with custom upper A arms that have a wider range of adjustment.
