all I can add is they are 2&1/4 outlets & the dr one is somewhat restricted. I'd want better for 408 cubes but as you know headers are much more difficult to deal with

The problem with my engine is not the exhaust, the cork is the intake at this point, there may well be some more HP available from the manifolds once I open up the intake etc.. Tough to say until the exhaust becomes the biggest restriction.
I went searching for this too. I found a little bit, but don't get your hopes up to high. Your numbers are about right for these "stock" appearing set ups.

right but there are more than a few that look stock running much higher CR, and much bigger solid rollers, with tricked out carbs and intakes, many of those engines are well over 500hp

Are any of you F.A.S.T. or stock appearing guys running hydraulic roller cams in stroked small blocks with the 340 HP Exhaust manifolds? If so, whose cam and specs?
A hydraulic cam has no business being in a race engine.

Most shelf type cams are totally wrong for a engine running exhaust manifolds. There are several things to consider with manifolds, and what you " think should work", probably is way off base. They have " special needs", just like most of us.

I agree 100% . Get in touch with somebody that builds and tests several engines and has a good idea of what it takes. Most cam companies tech lines get it wrong too. Keith
