were's your regulator? As far as I know you can only have a small amount of rubber line. I'm using it from my tank to the filter, from the filter to the pump, and from the pump to the hard line. Maybe 10" in total. Works fine. Had it 2 years w/ no issues.

it's NOT? I think you need to READ the link.

"Hose, Twist-Tite, Rubber, Black, -6 AN, 20 ft. Length, Each"

go ahead and run it all the way and try nd pass tech. What's that 6 letter word in the middle?

It's not a "rubber" line in NHRA's eyes because it requires no hose clamps. Go stay in a holiday inn.

I have run similar stuff from front to rear and ALWAYS passed tech... why??? Because it's an approved line mr. know it all.

Grab a rule book and read it for once before you step on ground you know nothing about! There's a list of approved non- steel braided hoses and this one was on it last I checked, along with Jegs style of this hose as well.

Let me help you... Page 89

Most of those push lock style lines are not rubber like the .99/ft stuff you buy at autozone. It's a synthetic rubber compound with additional woven material.

Want to use summits description as gospel, be my guest. Not the first time their descriptions have been off base.

Mr. YukYuk....it's legal....most braided stainless is rubber too

It's legal because it has braided reinforcement and because NHRA says so....

The reason summit says It's not recommended as fuel line is that they had too many people complain that their garage smells like fuel with that line....for almost the same price you can get braided Aeroquip stainless teflon line that will last forever. Check out www.aeroquip.cc. -8 is $3.50 ft in bulk....$4.00 ft in exact lengths. It won't smell up your garage either.
