Any advantage one over the other in a 904 full race under 350HP? Thanks

T think a 3.8 would work just fine.

Most trans guys will tell you to avoid the 5.0 anymore and use the 4.7. I use the 4.7 in everything I build.

I use the 4.2 whenever possible.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

haven't ran the trans yet, but I went with a 4.2 based off the recommendations from a lot of builders I talked with and guys on here as well.

I run what the valve body guy says to run, or what he prescribe.
Cheat vb still recomend , the 5.0 , while other makers of trans brake do recomend the 4.2!

I run a cheeta TB vb in my cuda with a 5.0 and 277 first gear. Was doing that weighing in at 3800 lbs. 129/131 60 fts a hundred passes or more on it and when tore down for inspection over the winters, parts are still good. My trans was set up for me this way, I went by what was built for me. I can't recomend what's better to use, only a testimony on what I have been using is all.
