triangulation brother, its at its STRONGEST all tied in to the subframe connectors and to be legal for 8.50 cert. some day YOU MUST BE TIED INTO THE SUBFRAME CONNECTORS! The cage is setup for easy add ons in the future.

This is true... BUT where you put the triangulated bar
is to a unsupported area.. it would have been must
stronger if you went to the bottom of the main hoop....
instead of the cross bar... I'm not telling you what
to do but what would have been stronger... but to
be honest I would have just run the down leg on the
steeper angle and landed on the frame connector...
stronger and less steel
