If I remember right... the 8896 is a 3 circuit carb
and the 9375 is the 2 circuit carb(if I'm remembering the
9375 number right)... so people like the 2 circuit carb
because its easier to fine tune... BUT the 3 circuit
carb has a finer tuning when its dialed in... it has
a mid range that can be cleaned up better than the
2 circuit carb(you really need a wide band O2 to get
it right
I just looked at the numbers and the 9375 looks to
be the NEW dom and IS a 3 circuit carb also.... so
forget the above info of the 2 circuit ...
here is the Holley info... you can see both on their
site for info
http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R10595rev1.pdf
EDIT
you can look up any of the carb stuff here

thanks I think the 8082 is the 2 circuit. the dom will only be used at the track. im keeping my bigs 950 for street duty, its been a great carb.

The early non HP 9375 work great on a single four intake Better than the early 8896 non HP do with stock jetting on both carbs I've tested both on the same car twenty minutes apart on a A,B,A tests The HP carbs., 9375-1,-2,-3 and the 8896-1,-2 and -3 may act differently
