I watched the add, he's a GIANT tool His quote "you lose and I take the vin number from that car and it't banned from the show" or something to that effect kinda brought to a tear to my eye thinking about the finality of it all.

I got PLENTY of parts car titles and spare dashes with VIN tags...

I've paid less for my parts cars/titles/dashes than some people have paid for 2 rivets.

I agree, I know he can't ride a motorcycle, and doesn't know much about cars, but at least it gets a little bit of airtime.

However 1/8 mile should make it more about launching your car and skill too, which is neat to see.

However, the whole VIN # thing sounds kinda dumb to me. Realistically, what percentage of cars at Pinks All Out events were returns that lost at a previous event? How many times did you hear someone say they were at their 2nd, 3rd, 4th event? That would cut into your returns pretty quickly. Of course 'banned for life' could be three weeks if he gets too full of himself again.
So if length is negotiated, is it on an 1/8 mile track or isn't it?

I think way too many people took that show too seriously, It was the
"Price is Right" of drag racing. I did two that came around my area and both were some of the most fun iv'e had at any track. I spent my time with racers and friends and could care less what RC was doin.

How many times I haven't been to the track is my exact point! I don't have money since the economy dumped and my wife lost her job 6+ years ago. How long has his show been off the air?
I think you will see the down turn of drag racing has more to do with money over him being gone. The reason he is gone is because the money isn't there. I don't have anything against him either.

well fact is there is no one else out trying to do anything with drag racing so i guess we will have to take what ever we can get.it's not easy to get a network to do a show like this it takes drama of some sort
