they have been filming this at irwindale the last few weeks. the show is with rich from pinks .called won & done.. I have mixed feeling about this because it is film on our test and tune night at irwindale they will be filming it every other week.it great that there is a new show for us drag racers but I wish they would film it on a different night..

Here is a link for the show http://www.mavtv.com/shows/won-and-done.html Whitedart the car in the promo looks familiar
edit: set up the link again, worked for me.

Sounds like a mixed bag to me. It could be good for the track and has Lucas backing. I'll try it, if I'm picked.

as true as that is there is not many out doing anything for the average racer. so it's a plus for him to go out and do it. i will support it given the chance.

What, like there aren't any other tools in drag racing?

I watched the add, just another drama show. as lame as it may be it's about drag racing so I will watch.to bad we couldn't come up with a realistic drag racing show that promotes the everyday racer

I watched the add, he's a GIANT tool His quote "you lose and I take the vin number from that car and it't banned from the show" or something to that effect kinda brought to a tear to my eye thinking about the finality of it all.

I dislike Rich just as much as all you all... personally speaking, I feel like I got screwed out of money and time going to 5 of the Pinks All Out shows and not having a "realistic" chance of making the show..

But with that said.. I admire the man for the butts he put in the seats and the excitement it generated when the show rolled into town.. Call me a moron, but I'd stand in line to sign up for another Pinks All Out, if it was ever reincarnated..

Rich a tool really! I know he is,but the man has done more promotion for the sport of drag racing than nhra has in twenty plus years. If you guys haven't noticed drag racing is a failing sport.I will be watching and supporting any positive promotions of our sport! No matter how big of a tool the promoter/host is!

I'm on board with the last two posts. I don't like Rich much and he doesn't get the real grudge and street racers. But I love the sport and will gladly order MAV TV to watch it and their ADRL coverage. This isn't high school and nobody is asking you to hang out with Rich lol don't get all butt hurt over it

for me this has nothing to do with rich I love drag racing and like to watch pinks /past time /pink all out/so this will be another show to watch. but we are going to lose a good portion of our street legal/test tune/Thursday night bracket race.

I agree, I know he can't ride a motorcycle, and doesn't know much about cars, but at least it gets a little bit of airtime.

However 1/8 mile should make it more about launching your car and skill too, which is neat to see.

So I'm assuming they walk the pits, check out the potential competitors and opponents, ask if the owner/racer wants to be on the show?
I haven't been to Irwindale yet, been thinking of going down one Thursday night, this gives me another reason to go down,,,maybe a bunch of us moparts members can all show up one night, increase the odds of getting a Mopar or two on the show.
