My fuel lines and fitting on my 6 pack set are 5/16's. However the fuel line and pick up is 3/8. My question is should it be 3/8's at the carbs? Car is a 70 barracuda that I am installing a 500CID stroker and six pack (replacing my tired 440). I want it to look correct but also want to avoid any fuel starvation issues....Thanks

3/8 up from the pump to the distro block and 5/16 to each carb. You should be fine. I'm running the stock lines. However I'm having some braided 3/8 made up soon. I have a local hydrolic place make them. Way cheaper and better looking than that cobbled together stuff you see online.

That sounds correct for stock....never caused issues for me when I was racing a high horse 440 back in the day. The tri-power Vette's have the big line all the way up to the carbs....so the bigger fittings are available.....although the lines and the inlets are different on Vette carbs.

here's a pic of a 3/8" steel tube set-up i did for a 6-pak. it isn't as easy as one would think.

5/16" after the fuel pump is plenty for even a 6 pack.imo

Discharge line on any pump should be one size smaller than the suction.

Will do won't be for a few weeks. I had the place make me a line from the hard line up to the regulator, from the reg to the FP gauge and from the reg to the factory carb lines. They look way better than anything you can piece together, and I think I paid like $60 for all of it.

here's what I've done so far, the rest of the line will look the same.
