Didn't Direct Connection make one for a few years in the mid 70s? Maybe dig back through the pages of the '70s pictures link.
That was for the A body

There's an old picture of a white 71 Hemi or Six Pack Road Runner with an AAR? spoiler on the back of it. Has blue and yellow California plates on it and North Hollywood or Burbank Chrysler Plymouth Dealer liceanse plate frames on it.
Ask in the 71 Road Runner picture thread in General Section, I'm sure someone remembers it and has a picture.
I think in that picture the car has a sunroof in it, but it's not an original sunroof car.
Picture has been posted hear on Moparts a few times over the years.

Didn't that Tor Red Hemi car (the one that was originally white, I think?) have one?
Sounds right. I remember the car is a different color now.

A different approach: Will a 71/72 Charger trunk lid fit a 71/72 Roadrunner? I know, quarter extensions would need to be made.
why would use a charger trunk? they don't have the ducktail spoilers either
autoxcuda: tried asking about pics of the one you mentioned, no such luck, I may just buy a AAR one and see how it fits

It has more of a lip at the back vs the round off on thr Plymouth lid. Just looking at various options.

Has anyone here had or seen a 71/72 Roadrunner with a ducktail type spoiler? Something like what was on the AMX. If so, do you have pictures? Does anyone make a spoiler like that for one of these cars? Thanks!
Here's a link to an auction where there's a custom lip style spoiler on the trunk lid, essentially a backwards 'L'. I don't particularily like it but each to their own, at least it gives you an idea of the look. I've always thought the 71/72 body looked best with a gull style wing.

I have a magazine with pictures of the 71 Road Runner mentioned above with the AAR style spoiler but it's buried somewhere in a box, no promises on finding it. If I remember the article right, it was a factory style spoiler but whether it was an AAR spoiler modified to fit or something else, I just don't remember.
Mike.

The spoiler on that yellow car looks very brutal. I think you would be much better off starting with an AAR spoiler and modifying it. A bit of fiberglass work is all it would take.
I agree, I think he should have painted it yellow to blend it in so It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

does anyone know the length of a aar cuda rear spoiler?
62 3/4" for a fiberglass repo. I have a busted oe spoiler I can measure Tues or Wed. But I don't think there will be much difference that would be signicant to your plans.
