Hi all, just wanting to check opinions on which would be a better fit for my 63 Belvedere wagon. Its a 400 block strokedout to 451.
Stock motor mounts on stock k-frame
And a 65 pushbutton trans.
I have a cheap set of headman headers now, but hate the fit and want a coated set now.

So which brand fits better???

Thanks
Mike

i have 2" tti's on my 65 coronet with a 440. fit is great. with a low deck i'd think fit might be better no matter which brand you use. to my knowledge there aren't any 1 7/8" headers for the early b-body. so its 1 3/4" or 2".

I know a couple of guys with the Doug headers and they look and fit great!!

On my race car I have Hedman that has one pipe on each side run over the framerail.

I have TTI's on my 65 and they fit very well, a buddy of mine has Doug's on his 65 and they too fit very well. The difference is price, his were a bunch cheaper, if I had to do it over again I would buy Doug's just for the price.

I like the Doug's D-452 for a 2" header tube they still look good after a few years and they fit even better

These are 2" TTI's on my 440 in my 63. They work and fit great as I really like them. I have never used Doug's headers but from what I hear and see they are a top notch header also. Dont think you can go wrong with either TTI or Doug. Ron

I've never tried a pair of TTi's, but the Dougs 452 headers fit great on my car. Even though it is a 70.
