Officially, the Curt George Memorial event will be run August 16-18, 2013 at Quaker City Dragway in Salem, Ohio.
It will feature Sportsman/Pro/Super Pro; plus classes for Hemi and Max Wedge cars. If possible, Gen III Hemi cars will be offered a venue to race, as well.
Will be a great time, at a great, new venue.
More details to follow.

BGR wants to thank Norm Fox,Ronnie and Aron McCellend,AJ Casini,Kyle and Steve Reasbeck for giving their time(on Super Bowl Sunday)to meet and work out a plan for the upcomming Curt Memorial Race. With dedicated Mopar racers putting this event together I think this will be the best event ever. From all at BGR,thanks for your time and effort. Respectfully Bob

Actually I stand corrected. We'll be there for the Tri State Stock/Super Stock event on the 17th. So..... may as well run the wheels off the car and come early for the Curt memorial race.

Class racers are like scared puppys around bracket racers, they never want to get off the porch let alone venture as far as the curb.

Bob, Do you have a schedule for Saturday yet? I know it is early but want to try to run both the Tri State and Curt's race on Saturday. BTW some puppies are not scared.

Steve and Kyle have the starting times maybe they can post them up.I think time trials start at 10AM As usual I like to get you excited by You have shown us that both you and the car are deadly competitive even when bracket racing, which class racing is almost the same when it's time for SS eliminator.

Once everything is absolutely firmed up, that stuff will be posted. We just wanted to give a heads up on the dates.
Quaker City's schedule still has Mike Carr's event scheduled for that weekend, we don't want to step on toes and make sure that everyone is worked out to their satisfaction. Perhaps they can run in conjunction with the Curt George Memorial. Mike works hard....so, once everything is firmed up and carved in stone details will be released.
But, everyone has the heads up.
