I have a 69' Roadrunner that i am redoing and i am pretty much going after the look of an A12 car since that is what i have always dreamed of. I am ready to pull the trigger on a six pack hood but i see two different styles. From all of the pics i have been looking at on google, etc, i see a style with a raised body line in front of the scoop (like the body line on a stock flat satellite hood) and some that are just flat (like on a stock flat roadrunner hood). I want the exterior of the car to look just like an A12 car so i just need to figure out which one i need. Hopefully someone with a real A12 car can chime in. Thanks in advance for any help, Bret

The original A12 hood is like a Satellite hood and NOT flat in front ot the A12 scoop (see attached photo).

The bottom side of an original A12 hood (rr or Bee) will look like someone made it at home and never worked with fiberglass like this one

You can also see the Satellite/Belvedere hood body line on the underside

Year One sells the best and most original style A12 Lift-Off-Hoods and they look better on the underside than an original. It also has the underside duct work that surrounds the air filter tray and seals against the tray seal.

That's an A12 Super Bee Year-One hood underside with the single center hood line in the above photo

Wow, that was fast. Thank you very much for the prompt replies. I have an aftermarket hood close to me for sale and looks just like this one with the body line and looks the same underneath with the boxed in ducted area. Thanks to your expertise, I will go ahead and buy it. Thanks again, Bret
