I am posting this for a freind that I help with his Street Stock dirt car. He is running a mopar engine and is running well. Now the dirt rules let him run the W2 heads. He ran the W2s last year and in the last race one head cracked. He wants to buy a new W2 from Mopar Performace but is worried that the new casting will not pass the ball test. All that is a ball that is measured to what they want the exhaust port to be. They slide it in between the valve stem and port if it does not pass threw its legal.I know its BS but you must understand this is dirt track racing.Plus one size fits all so they use the same ball on a chevy head. Anyway Has anyone bought the new W2s and have them assembled? Would you take a couple of mintes and test the head? We will send you the test ball and the instruction on how to do the test. Basicly stick it in the exhaust port and if it stops the head is golden. Or if any of you guys know where I can go on the internet and find someone that can help us. He does"t want to buy a new head and find out that it will be not legal. As we all know its hard to find a unmolested W2 head anymore so this is about the last option he has.

If the MODS did their job I would not be hitting the notify MOD button. LOL
