flypaper I hate Texas F Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 18,632 jersey shore	my guess would be one or all of these a part number vendor/part origin/batch number date code they often stamped parts to identify them for quality control incase they had a problem with the part down the road. that way they could trace the batch back and fix or replace them as needed. also some of the numbers on the support matched the vin or so number of the car depending on year and model.
