I have to remove door and vent window glass in my 70 b-body sedan two door. The service manuel is very uniformative on how to do this. Whats the easiest/best/safest way to do this? On the vent windows can you just take swivel off and pull glass out of channel? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

The vent glass is the easy part. Just remove the screw that holds the swival to the glass and it comes right out. As for the door glass you have to remover the entire vent frame with the door glass as one unit. There is an anchor clamp that is hidden up at the top of the door inside that has to be removed before the vent can come out. You also have to remove the window crank unit out before you can pull the glass and vent out

and hopeflly the window edge seals are in good shape... cuz they are hard to find. and pretty pricey..$$

I just new the service book couldn't be right. are the hidden bolts/nuts behind the body plugs on door or in addition to those? Thanks again for all the info this job turned into way more than I expected.

Yes Take ALL the plugs and caps off the door to access the allen head screws and hex head bolts. The glass seals are being repopped so they are easy to find
