I have to remove door and vent window glass in my 70 b-body sedan two door. The service manuel is very uniformative on how to do this. Whats the easiest/best/safest way to do this? On the vent windows can you just take swivel off and pull glass out of channel? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

I think the easiest way is to detach the top of the track from the vent frame (small screw), remove the large plastic stud from the bottom/center of the glass (there's a plastic plug pressed into the center of the stud that has to be pulled out in order to remove the stud), and then remove the glass from the lower track (window regulator) and slide the glass out the top. The vent window has to be carefully removed from the channel after removing the screw. Good luck
