does anybody know who make a good bolt on six pack hood for 69 rr
A good reproduction of an original...that would be Year One, in fact they are better finished than an original A12 hood with all of the underside details.
For a light weight six pack hood without the underside air cleaner "air box" for lack of a better term, I think that would be the place near Port Canaveral, FL......what's their name....oh yeah AAR http://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/
And you can use the stock hinges and not pin it like an A12

It is actually Stinger Fiberglass now, they bought AAR. I toured their facility last year and the owner is a Mopar guy. I picked-up a hood for a buddy there.
How was Cocoa Beach? Rusty's Raw Bar in Port Canaveral is great btw ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer.gif)

I bought a bolt on (pin front) six pack hood for my '68 Road Runner last Summer from Unlimited Products. It is about 2" taller than stock - which is something I wanted. Got it painted and put it on, with their lightweight hinge springs, the week before I took it on Drag Week last September. By about day 3 it had developed a significant bow in the hood (see pic). I contacted them and sent pictures about it when I got home and they wouldn't warranty it. They said my hinges were binding (they weren't). I removed the springs and it flattened back out.
Definitely don't recommend buying one from them.

I bought an AAR hood for mine several years ago. At first I used the hinges with light weight springs. I now use it as a lift off. Very nicely made. No complaints, and I would buy from them again as well.
