Hey Charlie, you know those booths at every swap meet, where the guy is welding up holes in pop cans with this special rod and propane torch? I bought one of those kits, and I gotta tell you, it actually works. It takes a bit of practice, but it really works. When finished, you can sand it smooth and polish it, and the repair looks great. I've got some of that special rod if you'ld like to play around with it, just let me know, Bill

Wow! I'd just like to know who makes the kits. I've got a couple console tops that contracted the deadly 'tach mounting holes' disease.
