Had a cylinder to cylinder blowout after only 50 runs with the white 440 source gaskets, was thinking I'd step up and put Cometic mls gaskets on. Jegs has about 20 different variations listed, anyone know what size and thickness I should order? The motor is 12:1 590mp cam, 180psi cranking pressure. Runs 11:50 in a 4000# car. Thanks for any help.

Can this just be welded and resurfaced?

Been done for ages.

Have a pro do it.
Dan at Performance Only should be able to help, he's in FLA too.
As far as the gasket goes, figure out which bore size you need and then how thick the gasket should be for decent squish.
