I seriously doubt it.. And I have a Performer RPM going on my 68 Coronet R/T... Without the Airgrabber I'll be using a 3/4" drop base...

i'm not worried about the base, just wanted to know if the manifold will fit under the hood with a aftermarket air cleaner? rt told me that it is too tall with only an inch between the hood and top of carb? will not be enough air flow?
An inch is not a lot of room , you'll have to run a shorter height air filter and that will restrict airflow , but you could use a KN filter top?
What carb , does it have an air horn ? if a 14" air filter will not fit inside the air seal holder a 13" should.

I have a performer rpm intake on my engine. I modified a fibre glass air grabber base by cutting a large hole in it and fitting it to a 1 1/2" drop down base. I just use a drop down air cleaner base these days.

trying to figure out if the manifold will work in the car somehow? surly someone on here has used the rpm performer on a gtx, rr before? if it won't fit i'll try anouther intake?
The manifold and a carb will fit , it's the air cleaner that is the problem.
What carb are you going to use ?

holley hp.
Does it have a choke tower ? If not you should be able sneak it in there with the lowest drop base available ???
The pictures of the 70 above show it can be done ... on a 70 which has a raised center on the hood ... I don't know how much more higher that hood pokes up vs. a 69 hood ...

I asked the same question regarding my 70 Coronet with 440 a few weeks ago. The Eddy RPM is such a popular intake, I am surprised more don't have clear cut advise on the clearance for your vehicle. I am using a no-choke Holley 4160 and RPM. I haven't dropped my engine yet and face the same dilema, albeit, I don't have the fresh air setup. The guy who does fiberglass bases for air grabbers is Steve, goes by the name Paint It Black. I would try to retain your air grabber if you can. If not, my birthday is in march.
I’m listening.

as with any performace air cleaner you will need a DROP BASE. Even a factory 6-pack has a drop base. The RPM will fit under and flat hood but you will need to call Summit and order an air cleaner assembly. I used a 14x3 w/ a 1 3/4" drop for my old 67 coronet.

I would guess that the clearance is tighter with my 67 than your 69 w/air grabber. Yes, spun aluminum. 440-2D intake. Same height as the RPM
